Currently I have inspected over 3000 properties in the Greater Philly Area in my 12 years of service. My contracting background affords me the knowledge that book-based training doesn't. I like to tell people, "I know more about what's behind that wall because I've built that wall." I am a full member in good standing with ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and apply their Standards of Practice in every inspection.
ETHOS:
I run a more personal business than you might receive with larger inspection companies. It sounds cliche, but the driving impetus behind my work is the people I meet and get to help every day. (It's true, because who would enjoy climbing into wet cobweb filled crawlspaces just for enjoyment?)
I found out a long time ago that I have to find a meaning behind my work to make it worth it. There is inherent value (and the reason I do what I do) to providing critical information to clients who are scared, stressed, nervous and otherwise concerned about the largest purchase they'll probably ever make; or those who are ready to sell the home they've raised a family in for decades and want to know how to prepare their home for the full value they deserve.
"Avise la fin"— Consider the end. (The Kennedy Clan Motto)
At Kennedy Home Inspections, this means looking beyond the surface. I help you understand how today’s conditions may impact tomorrow’s home, giving you clear, practical guidance so you can move forward with confidence.
Kennedy Inspections started in 2014 and is an LLC of one employee; me, Ross Kennedy.
I am a husband, father, and recently grandfather living in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. I've had a diverse professional career spanning the social services, sales, ministry and teaching, which eventually lead to contracting and home inspections.
